CCD YEAST PRETZELS
4 cups flour
1 cake or 2
pkgs yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbs sugar
(1 egg beaten
for basting)
1 ½ cup warm water
Coarse salt
Dissolve
sugar in warm water.
Dissolve
yeast in water and proof.
Combine
flour and salt.
Add
to warm water mix.
Kneed lightly until smooth.
Cut
into small pieces, roll and form into pretzels.
Place
on lightly greased cookie sheet.
Brush
with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt.
Bake immediately at 4250
F for 12-15 min.
