PUMPKIN PIE
(ONE CRUST
RECIPE)
2 ½ - 3 cup
pumpkin
1 cup sugar
3 eggs (beaten
well)
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ tsp
cinnamon
13 oz can evaporated milk
½ tsp ginger
½ tsp ground
cloves
Preheat
oven 4250 F.
Combine
sugar, salt, spices.
Add
vanilla to eggs and mix.
Add
pumpkin, milk, vanilla and eggs.
Beat
until smooth.
Pour
into unbaked one crust pie shell.
Bake at 4250 for 15 min.
Reduce
to 3500 F.
Bake
for 1 hour longer.
Cool
completely before refrigerating.
